About Me

Randi Lynn is an editorial consultant and the former editor of Kid’s Imagination Train ezine.  She worked as the nonfiction editor for Stories for Children Magazine and as a consultant for Pearson Digital Learning.  

Mrvos has written articles for homeschooling magazines, as well as children’s, writer’s, parenting and scientific publications. 

She is an award-winning picture book writer, a member of The Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, and a part-time instructor at the Carnegie Center for Literacy and Learning in Lexington, Kentucky.  

After the publication of her book, MAGGIE AND THE SUMMER VACATION SHOW-AND-TELL, Mrvos began a blog to chronicle the joys and tribulations of publishing a book and now gives writing advice on The Maggie Project.  Her second blog, Children's Writer's World is a collection of musings and personal reflections sprinkled with heaping helpings of honesty.
